68th Championship Show – November 2018

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria is proud to announce the details of the 68th Championship Show – November 2018 [PDF], our traditional championship show. Mrs Gayle Garvin (USA) of Garvin Corgis (Cardigan and Pembroke) has accepted our invitation to judge this event.

The 67th Championship Show will being held at KCC Park, Skye on Saturday, 3rd November 2018. Further details are included in the 68th Championship Show Schedule [PDF]. Entries close on Monday, 22nd October, so update your calendar so that you can join us on the day! We look forward to seeing lots of Welsh Corgi enthusiasts there.

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria is proud to announce the details of the 67th Championship Show – April 2018 [PDF].

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria would like to inform Corgi exhibitors that our April Show judge, Mrs Carole Vaughan, is unable to fulfil her appointment due to health reasons. Although we are disappointed that Carole cannot be with us, we are pleased to announce that Mrs Joan Hutton has accepted our invitation to judge the show. Entries close on 1 April, so please get them in so you can join us on the day! We look forward to seeing lots of Welsh Corgi enthusiasts there.

The 67th Championship Show is being held at Bulla Exhibition Centre, Bulla on Saturday, 14th April 2018. Further details are included in the schedule [PDF].

The 66th Championship Show is being held at KCC Park, Westernport Hwy on Saturday 4th November 2017. Mr Tim Matheson (Nebriowa – USA) is our Championship Show judge. The April 2017 Championship Show has just finished, and we were blessed with good weather, a marked contrast to last year’s mid-year show. Our thanks go out to our judge, Ms Lisa Carpenter (QLD), our exhibitors and their dogs, and all the other people that came along to see show Corgis do their thing. 65th Championship Show – April 2017

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria is proud to announce the details of the 65th Championship Show – April 2017 [PDF]. This will be the second time that we have held a mid-year Championship Show in place of the Open Show.

The 65th Championship Show is being held at Bulla Exhibition Centre on Saturday 15th April, 2017. Ms Lisa Carpenter (QLD – Talkon) is our judge, and the show will be held in coordination with the Easter Festival Kennel Club Championship Show. Further details are included in the schedule [PDF].

Challenges will be awarded at both shows.

Looking forward to the Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria Championship Show on Saturday. Looks like a beautiful sunny day for our show, which will be held in Ring 8 on the main lawn area. Great entry of 22 Cardigans and 58 Pembrokes for our breed judge Kim Nielsen

An Open Invitation

Do you want to be a Corgi Owner? Are you a Corgi Lover? Would you like to find out more about our fantastic breeds?

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria is holding a Championship Show on Saturday, 11th June 2016. We would love it if you could come along; entry is free and there is heaps of parking.

This is a great opportunity to talk to other Corgi enthusiasts, Corgi owners, and Corgi breeders. Find out what it means to own a Corgi, and what a Corgi expects from you.

The show is expected to run for around 2 hours and dogs of both breeds, Welsh Corgi Cardigan and Welsh Corgi Pembroke, will be on show. Exhibitors, Club Members and Members of the Club Committee (and their dogs) will be on-hand to answer questions and chat until at least 2pm.

The show starts at 10am and will be held at the State Dog Centre (KCC Park), 655 Westernport Hwy, Skye 3977 (Melways 128 J12 / https://goo.gl/maps/sz36WcvvXgD2). The show is being held in conjunction with the Working Dog Club of Victoria Championship Show. June 2016 Championship Show

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria is proud to release the schedule for the June 2016 Championship Show. This show will be held on Saturday, 11th June 2016 in conjunction with the Working Dog Show. The Judge is Mrs Joanne McCann (Jopearl, QLD), and entries close on Friday, 20th May 2016.

This Championship Show will be held in place of our Open Show, and is the first show that we have offered online entries for. You can enter online with Easy Dog Entries, or by mail.
