2020 Annual General Meeting Update

The May / June Chatter included details of the upcoming Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 18th July, 2020. It was the intention of the Committee to hold the AGM in person. With the recent changes in social isolating requirements in Victoria this is no longer possible.

As an alternative we will be holding this AGM in a “virtual” environment as allowed by our rules of incorporation (rule 35 – Use of technology). While it is unfortunate that this is occurring at short notice and this is the first time that this has happened I’m sure that you will agree that these are unusual times!

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria will still hold the meeting on Saturday 18th July, at 11am by Zoom (https://zoom.us/). To obtain access details of the meeting please contact Mike Cronin – (03 9700 2323). Zoom is an online video conferencing facility with apps available for Android and Apple devices as well as for Windows.

June 2016 Championship Show Results

The June 2016 went without a hitch, despite the best efforts of some very ordinary Melbourne winter weather. We had rain, hail, wind and a little bit of sunshine. Our thanks go out to our judge, Mrs Joanne McCann, our exhibitors and their dogs, and all the other people that came along to see show Corgis do their thing. (Best In Show, Cardigan, Pembroke, Cardigan Classes, Pembroke Classes).

Big Day Out For Dogs 2015

The Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria will be at the Dogs Victoria Big Day Out For Dogs. Big Day Out for Dogs is being held on Sunday, 13th December 2015, at KCC Park, 655 Westernport Hwy, Skye.

This is a great opportunity to pop along and meet some corgis, and talk “corgi” with some of our members. Dogs Victoria have a full program of doggy activities, competitions and demonstrations for the day. An added attraction is the Canine Christmas Market, an excellent opportunity for some last minute Christmas shopping.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Welcome to Our New Website

Hello, welcome to the new website for the Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria. We
have got all of the old material here from the old website, it’s just been
reformatted and presented a little differently.

The old site is still around, and if you have a hankering for it I have it tucked away, but still accessible.

Everything should now be a little easier to update now, so I will start to
add some more posts as time permits. If you have any suggestions for the
site or for the Corgi Chatter please drop me an email.
