2013 60th “Diamond” Championship Show Results

The 2013 Championship Show was a great day, with wonderful weather. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved: our Judge, Marina Volkova; the exhibitors and their dogs; and, everyone who turned out to watch the proceedings.

The Class places have now been updated, and links have been added to each section (Best In Show, Cardigan, Pembroke, Cardigan Classes, Pembroke Classes).

2013 Championship Show Judge: Marina Volkova

The CV for our 2013 Championship Show Judge, Marina Volkova.

Dogs have been in my life since childhood. Our first dog was a mixed-breed. After that we took on an Eastern European Shepherd, then I started my hobby of dog training. Then I madly fell in love with German Shepherd, started serious training and took part in various competitions. At first I was organizing a German Shepherd department in the club. Dogs bred by me had a prefix “iz Solovyinogo Kraya”. Many dogs with this prefix have been famous and won major shows. Continue reading

2013 Annual General Meeting, Open Show & Restricted Obedience Trial

The 2013 Annual General Meeting will held on Saturday, 27th April 2013.  The AGM will be held in conjunction with the Open Show and Restricted Obedience Trial; entries close on Friday 12th April. A Members Competition will also be held on the same day with entries taken on the day. Mr Alistair Henderson is judging the Open Show, Mr Fred Brueckner is judging the Obedience Trial, and Ms Sally Stasytis is judging the Members Competition.

We look forward to seeing as many members as possible there.

55th Championship Show Critique

I’d like to thank the officers and committee of the Welsh Corgi Club of
Victoria for inviting me to judge their 55th Annual Championship Show.
In particular I would like to thank the club’s president Mrs. Glenda Cook
for the overwhelming hospitality she afforded my wife and I and in
addition I must thank my stewards for their sterling work on the day.
