Draft: Model Rules for an Incorporated Association

Attached are the proposed new Model Rules for an Incorporated Association. The change is a result of a change in legislation in the state of Victoria with the introduction of the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (and its associated Regulations) replaced the Associations Incorporation Act 1981.

These rules will be the subject of a resolution at the Welsh Corgi Club of Victoria’s 2014 Annual General Meeting to be held at KCC Park, Westernport Highway, Skye on Saturday 24th May, 2014, commencing at 9:30am.

2014 NSW Championship Shows

The Welsh Corgi Club of NSW has published the schedules for their 2014 Championship Shows. The show will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April 2014 at the Castle Hill Showgrounds. The Judges are Mrs K Granaas Hansen (Norway) and Mrs Mary Kerfoot (WA).

Notice of 2014 Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held
at KCC Park, Westernport Highway, Skye on Saturday 24th May, 2014, commencing at 9:30am.

Open Show and Obedience Trial:

For the first time in a number of years the AGM will not be held in conjunction with the Open Show and Obedience Trial. The Committee has decided that due to the dwindling number of entries for the Open Show it is worth trying to hold the Open Show at the same time as the DogsVictoria “Big Day Out for Dog”. Details of the 2014 Open Show will be included in a future Chatter as the details are finalised.

2013 60th “Diamond” Championship Show Results

The 2013 Championship Show was a great day, with wonderful weather. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved: our Judge, Marina Volkova; the exhibitors and their dogs; and, everyone who turned out to watch the proceedings.
